Rhetoric School (9-12)

9th – 12th Grades

By the age of 14, students have developed a strong sense of self-awareness along with an ongoing desire to express themselves, exert independence, and present themselves as competent in the eyes of others. To this end, we make the most of this opportunity by training students to think carefully, construct arguments of their own, and write and speak eloquently, persuasively, and winsomely. We call this season Rhetoric School during which we train students to read, think, and discuss extensively, explore and express the “why” behind things, and articulate thoughts with wisdom and eloquence.
